2016 Dec 26
Here we are – nearly at New Years Day, our annual reminder that we're all slowly approaching our deaths.
As the heavy drinking drowns our sorrows, so does it turn our reflection inward, and cause us to self-evaluate. We realize how little we've accomplished, and to what degree we've let ourselves down.
Our failings are laid plain before us, and so we resolve to "do better" next year. We share our resolutions with others, in the forlorn hope that somehow our friends will make our commitments hold.
I shot several thousand photos in 2016, using a wide variety of cameras. I shot digitally, and using many types of film. I shot photos on photo excursions, on business trips, on days off, on my commute, on vacation, while at work, in abandoned malls, in busy hubs of activity. My love affair with photography continued strong.
Here's all the cameras and lenses I used in 2016Maybe. You tell me. Below are my 20 strongest photos from this year, in the order in which I shot them.
